Posted: 04 April 2013 ASG expands the license cooperation with Sage
On March 9, 2013 ActionSportGames® A/S (ASG) and Sage Control Ordnance, Inc. (SCOI) signed a master license agreement.
SCOI was incorporated back in 1992 to design, manufacture, and market Less Lethal Munitions and Launching Systems. The company is a spin off of Sage International, Ltd., with whom ASG signed a license agreement in 2009. Today SCOI produces multiple variants of less-lethal ammunition in 37mm smooth bore, 37 SAGE Rifled, 40X46mm NATO, and 12 gauge. Recently SCOI also started crafting a range of modern less-lethal launchers to complement not only their own ammunition, but others as well. SCOI serves Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies in the United States, as well as a growing number of foreign agencies, and continues to improve and expand the product range to meet the requirements of the customers. As a leading manufacturer of military, law enforcement and special projects equipment, SCOI takes quality and reliability very seriously. From the beginning of the company’s history SCOI has always been committed to excellence whilst crafting the very best products. The President, John Klein, oversees the daily operations of both Sage International, Ltd. and SC OI. His experience and guidance has helped Sage continuously improve and expand its product range to meet the changing demands of its customers. The newly signed license agreement between SCOI and ASG is of great benefit for both parties and is a natural development, which confirms the good cooperation under the Sage International. Another successful IWA exhibition is now behind us. It was some intense days with lots of meetings and people passing by. We had many new products on display, like the Next Generation Proline rifles, the new Ultimate Basic motors, Hera ARMS, pistol conversion kits and the new CZ P-09 Duty pellet gun.
